Q83- Salix Triandra x Viminalis

Q83 is great variety if you wish to grow your own wood fuel. Slow growth in the first year, but it performs well over a three year period. A popular biomass variety, as it gives a good yield in the British climate. Q83 has shown good resistance to disease.
Q83 has flexible stems making good for living structures, fedges and sculpture. The leaves are finely serrated.
Q83 grows 4-6 ft in the first year and will reach an ultimate hight of around 20ft if left uncoppiced.
