Salix Viminalis x Schwerinii DRH Brown

This Viminalis Schwerinii cross a very vigorous grower. Well suited to biomass / wood fuel production, including logs for woodburners and boilers. producing straight logs  that are easy to handle and high yeilding. Also suited to wood chip production on a shorter cycle  for boilers

A really good variety if you want to grow beansticks, with straight firm rods reaching upto 14ft in the first year in fertile loams. 10 ft is more typical. Growth then slows with most growth showing in increasing girth.
